What is Giubiera? The spring was thus greeted with jubilation, hence the term local giubiera. Successivamente il rito si trasformò in una festa rumorosa per la scacciata dell’inverno. Anticamente si trascinavano le catene dei camini, sporche di fuliggine, per le contrade del paese fino alla totale pulizia.
